UFC Fight Night Paris: Sept 03

Written by Cartichoke

FIGHT FANS. We are back, it seems like forever ago we saw the whole world being shocked

after Leon Edwards head kicked the champion Kamaru Usman out cold. Headshot bang, done. The UFC then took last weekend off. We can regroup and start the grind of getting that UFC coin.

This UFC event is a pretty special one, like a couple weeks ago the UFC went to London for an early day event. Now they are headed to Paris on what will be an eventful day. The main event should be a good time with Cyril Gane and Tai Tuivasa. Even the co-main is a good one, Rob Whittaker vs Marvin Vettori.

I really only love one bet on this card, so I will just give the one pick out but believe me when I say I love it because I LOVE IT. We have the British Nathaniel Wood taking on the Canadian (Jay Onrait voice) Charles Jourdain. Wood comes into this fight with a 18-5 MMA record and has 3 wins in his last 5 fights. He literally just fought not too long ago. Like how I was talking about the UFC London card in late July. Well he was on that card and he got a unanimous decision win over Charles Rosa. So this is a quick turnaround fight for Wood.

On the other side is Charles “Air” Jourdain. He comes into this fight with a professional record of 13-5-1. He has 3 wins in his last 5 fights. The two fighters have the same reach, but Jourdain is just a bit taller than Wood, standing at 5’9” while Wood is 5’6”. He pulled together two nice wins in a row vs Andre Ewell then defeated Lando Vannata. He then got a step up in competition with Shane Burgos but came up short in that one losing a majority decision. I feel confident in Charles Jourdain to get the job done in this one, just think, Wood’s last fight was in late July. Now he has a quick turnaround and prepares to fight Charles Jourdain who isn’t a guy you can take lightly. I mean Shane Burgos had a full camp and only won a majority decision.

So give me the French-Canadian to get the job done in France.

PICK: Charles Jourdain ML (-143) on CoolBet

I’ll see you at the top.
